Some Pawfectly Dreadful News

Tired salutations.
We regret to infrom you that Moo-Moo has had a little accident. While trying to jump from a decoration shelf to our desk, she slipped on a piece of paper and fell to the floor, meowing dreadfully. When we finally managed to seize her (she hid under our bed) we brought her to the closets vet and she said that Moo-Moo had broken her paw. Poor Mo-Moo!
So we are now busy running a feline hospital and it gave us some inspiration for another story. And in order to cheer her up, we have been feeding her fish scraps and singing her to sleep and holding and petting her. Caitlin and Anabella even tried to bring her out for a walk in their baby doll stroller--which she did not appreciate. In case you are wondering, she can scratch just as well a other.

Moo-Moo is expected to heal within the next week weeks and in the meantime she should avoid walking on her broken paw--but she doesn't take kindly to advice.
Yours truly, and with cat hairs all over,

To Our Royal Followers...

Royal greetings, for the first time this year!

We are pleased to announce that we are finishing off this year with 35 posts, having posted (more or less) every first and last Monday of the month, have updated the fonts, blog banners, illustrations, and more, and have written more than 12200 words worth of posts. As a celebration, we are doing...absolutely nothing. We are much too busy taking all the Kingmas decorations down in
our Writedom and dreaming about getting a pet bunny. Thank you all very much for your participation and we wish you a very kingly new year!

Whether the blog will run again regularly in the upcoming year or not has not yet been decided. We are facing uncertain times when the thought of exams, school, editing, and quite a bit of behind-the-scenes work looms ahead of us. For now, we will aim to continue posting on the first and last Monday of every month.

Yours sincerely and with the best of wishes for your new year,

TDK #11 Our Christmas Eve Tradition

Greetings, to our probably-very-excited-for-Kingmas-day followers!

Kingmas Eve is very important to the calendar, because if it wasn't for today, Kingmas would never come. Therefore, we always find it important to properly celebrate Kingmas Eve. Here are a few of our little traditions.

Both of us kings, our Kingetary, and the Duke of Cornmeal always exchange gifts among ourselves, but we also wrap a gift for ourself and another one for the other people to open next year. Then if ever something happens and one of us dies, we'll still have a special "good-bye" gift from the deceased person. Daniel (or King Edward XII) had the idea one day after he read a history book where the king was suddenly decapitated. And even if none of us dies (which is not at all a bad thing), it is still an interesting tradition and one that raises eyebrows whenever we explain it.

We also stay up late, but most people do. Then, as soon as midnight strikes, we write ourselves a letter to open next Kingmas, right after we read the one from the previous year. It is always embarrassing to read our wish lists.

Well, that's what we do. What about you? Let us know in the declaration scroll down below!

Yours sincerely,
