Daniel Shaw is a talented boy from Canada who enjoys drawing cartoons, writing books and stories, talking about people slipping on banana peels, drinking hot cocoa and imagining castles. He is one of the kings, otherwise known was King Edward VII and is particularly creatively talented. He is drawn as having long straight hair, standing up in the air.
Archie Hill is Daniel's stepbrother and is originally from Canada too but has lived in Spain for multiple years. He is the second king, known as King George VII. He loves being in his Writedom, writing books, drawing cartoons, combing his red hair in funny ways, and putting his clothes on backwards. He is drawn the same as Daniel, except that he is smaller and usually has shorter hair. Want to see how well you know him? Click HERE.
Jonah Hil, the Kingetary, is the royal secretary and enjoys doing all the proofreading and editing. He is undeniably the smartest and can play the piano and is a year ahead in math and science. When he isn't learning things, he enjoys being outside with animals, researching interesting things like probability and common sense, thinking, and reading. He is drawn with curly hair and sometimes wears glasses.
Adrien Hill, or the Duck of Cornmeal, is the youngest brother who is known for his wild hairstyle, originality, and strong emotions. He likes playing with dinosaurs, writing stories, making too much noise, and doing whatever his brothers are doing. He is drawn with clown-like hair and extra "puffy" pants.
The Comedy Cats are the Hill's pet cats. They are drawn with devil-like ears and wild facial expressions. They are usually up to mischief or in awe or puzzling over what is going on, and frequently appear in the drawings and are referenced in the posts, or "declarations", as they are called. The most prominent one is Moo-Moo, and all the cats are called oo-oo something or other.
The blog is referred to as being the Kingdom, and the closet the boys have set up as a writing nook is called a Writedom. They also have some vocabulary of their own, such as "Inkspiration", "Kingspired", "Kingmas", and more.

They all hope you enjoy the drawings and stories. To find out more about them or to read more about their sister Tifanie's books, click here or check out their own books here.
