Cartoon Conteste Winners!

Greetings and bows!

You all remember the cartoon contest we announced over a month ago? Well, we are finally here with the winners and cartoons, since we had to wait till we had published our new years posts. We had more subjects enter by letters or other means that the comment scroll below the announcement post. But we're sure you're not interested in that, and all you want is the cartoons! Well, here they are:

After many hearings, much pondering, and researching things in different scrolls, we came to the conclusion that the drawing of Irene tripping over her eyelashes was by far the winner. So congratulations too Maïna! She doesn't get a prize since we did most of the work by drawing them, but we congratulate her on her good idea.

We may have more contests in the future. In the meantime, farewell!

Your artistic kings,

Note: Uh, one of the cartoons hasn't made it yet. They'll be there soon :)

10 Reasons Why You Should Follow the Kings of Illustrations

Greetings and bows! (Not arrows, because they're dangerous.)

Today we have something fun for you. We asked our good friend, Caleb Hopkins, to give us ten reasons why people should follow us. Here is what he came up with:

1: They are funny
2: They are never vulgar (100% kid AND grandparent friendly)
3: They usually remain very positive and are not insulting
4: The drawings are hilarious
5: They have the best play-on-words
6: They are in a way educational (I'm not exactly sure I can explain how though)
7: They present a positive view on family, particularly large ones
8: They are sometimes dumb, but not enough to be annoying
9: They are very talented--at everything
10: The comments are hilarious. Because they have the best fans.

His answers made us feel very happy. We're glad he likes our fans, they definitely keep us cool. The only thing is that they blow our hair everywhere, which is rude. And should not be tolerated, but we are too polite to say anything.

And we thought we should end this post by giving you our top 5 reasons for why you should follow us. So here they are:

1: Because our kingdom isn't very far away, and is easily accessible to just about anyone. You won't don't even need to walk a mile, since it only takes a few clicks of a second and you will have a messenger come to your home to notify you whenever we share a declaration, quote, or funny cartoon. So why not?

2: Because if you follow us, we will take a few minutes rest every now and then to point out something funny, or uplifting. And who doesn't need some of that? Definitely not Mr. Hall!

3: Because if you follow us, we will lead you to the Wacky World--and the Wacky World is called Wacky for a reason: Because the pheasants that inhabit it are definitely wacky!

4: And we will certainly not scare anyone. If we think we hear a wolf or bear, we won't say so, we'll just...let you die feeling safe? No, no, no, we would do something about it, only we would only warn you at the very last second. (Archie: But what if it shocked them so bad they had a heart attack? Daniel: Well, we're already suffering from a wolf-attack, so we would be used to it, I suppose, and would just bare it.)

5: And most importantly, because we're KINGS. And you don't see one of those everyday. (So if you do, you should follow them, to see where they live, so that every day after that, you can go see them whenever you want. Which would probably be good for your eyes.)

Well, there you go! Fifty (fifteen, you crab-apple!) (Archie! We said we were not insulting!) (Archie: Whoops. I take that back.) Fifteen reasons why you should follow the one and only, the undisputed, the world-renowned KINGS of Illustratioooonns!!

(And we do not mean to brag.)

Yours sincerely and more truthfully,
