Happy Birthday Archie!

Hello, everyone!

June 23 was Archie's birthday during the party we decided we need to

catch a break. We managed to catch one in our room, and we decided to give you all eleven facts about him, even though eleven isn't his age, it's his favourite number.

1: Archie's favourite dessert is ice-cream cones
2: Archie dreams of going back to Italy
3: And going to France and bring fresh baguettes
4: Archie speaks two languages fluently
5: But he can call you dumb in seven different languages (and hope he gets it right and doesn't get called dumb himself)
6: His favourite TV show is Wing It Till You King It (it's imaginary
)
7: He loved cats, especially when they're bad.
8: He always laughs when his little siblings misbehave, even though he tries hard not to.
9: He doesn't like school
10: He has three middle names
11: He would actually really like having a pet turtle.

In celebration, we had a birthday party which we actually convinced our parents to let us host in our room. We saved half the birthday cake and lots of the other sweets and juice, and then at midnight we had another birthday party--a private one, with only Jonah, Adrien, Archie and I present--unless you count the cats. We also made our own decorations which the cats did not seem to like because they kept trying to rip them off everything. Anyways, it was great fun and Archie says it was the best birthday party he ever had.

That's all for today! Have a good rest of the month, pheasants!

Why Someone Falling Down the Stairs Is So HILLarious

Hello, loyal pheasants!

In our previous posts. we spoke about how our father had fallen down the stairs and how that had been an inspiration to us. Well, what it inspired us to do was to write a post about why falling down the stars is sooo funny.

It's kind of like when someone gets their words mixed up in their sentences. (Example: Yesterday our Mom told Adrien to take the house and sweep the broom. She actually meant to say take the broom and sweep the house.) Or like how today Tifanie told Mom that Zoo-Zoo had a kitchen when she actually meant kitten. That wasn't a lie, it was what is called a slip on the tongue. Anyways, when someone makes a dumb, unintentional mistake and it's rude to laugh so it makes you want to laugh even more.

Well, falling down the stairs is very similar to that, except that instead of slipping in your mouth you slip on the stairs. It always makes a big noise, especially in an old house with stairs that aren't carpeted. Everyone hears you and showers you with, 'Are you okay?'s' and you try to play it off, but it hurts and so you just kind of make a fool of yourself. And it is hilarious. You go up and down so often you don't really think of it as being a hazard until the step if just one step shorter than you thought or someone puts a book. The worst thing is if there happens to be a Dino settlement at the bottom of the stairs and your land on them--which is what happened to our father.

Anyhow, we find it absolutely HILLarious when someone falls down the stairs, but we try very hard not to laugh as we do know quite a lot of etiquette--but sometimes it's stronger than us.

Yours sincerely and laughing a little,
