“I'm Civilized!”

Archibald Farley Habakkuk Bartholomew Hill and Daniel Alexander David James Shaw don't get along. But they’ve gotta! Cooped up under the same roof, they find another huge problem: Their mom's beloved pet parrot, Noly, and nine other siblings in the house—one of them a bird without wings. How will Daniel survive two long weeks in a house overrun with cats, dogs, rabbits, and other critters?

“Where I Come From. . .”

Join the Hill Family once again, this time for a wild September filled with chaos.  Daniel's back and they're bound to have fun. —But how come Aedem Hopkins has to move away to Italy? Why do the Windowsols have to leave town? Why does Taeta Kibbeh need to move in town? How will they survive? When Mama announces the arrival of a new brother and a BIG move, the world starts spinning. So much is going on!

“This was NOT on my Agenda!”

Ha! Headed for Canada, the Hills “ended up in anything but that”, as Tifanie says. Un oh! They can't speak a word of Portuguese, or Swahili, and only a few words of Italian. Big problem: that’s where they are. Find out all about Archie and Daniel’s luxurious trip to Italy, why they both ended up in blue Mohawks and tuxedos, and whose schedule was “turned upside down, inside out, and backwards” on this crazy trip while learning some more valuable things.

“My Funny-Bone”

The Hill's are settled in a small town in Canada, with a large farm. But life in Canada is more momentous than thought. Between constantly stepping on Adrien’s dinosaures, accidentally locking their little sister in a closet, and failing miserably at cake—baking for obvious reasons, Daniel and Archie have to struggle to keep a positive attitude, especially towards their little brother who always wants to tag along, but insist on wearing pants that are sizes to big and has a hairdo similar to a clown. That makes it embarrassing to take him anywhere, even if he did a good job wildly improvising in a disastrous play, partially saved by a donkey and a pig. An incident with a buffalo burrow, and enjoying maple syrup for the first time, and a big snow storm just keep making the Hill kids more Canadian than ever, as decided in Daniel and Archie’s diary.

"The History of the Kings of Illustrations"

One wild September Daniel Shaw and Archie Hill met face to face for the first time, which caused a series of heated arguments, debate, and almost caused a war, however it ended with them on somewhat friendly terms. Fast forward a few years and the relationship is still rocky, however there is more on the line as they both move into an old farmhouse in Canada, with a bedroom to share, and under one roof for forever more--as they are now step brothers. Disagreements, different upbringings, and a common love for art brings the Daniel and Archie (now known as King George VII and King Edward XII) together and in the dim lighted closet of their bedroom they install a press and start a company and an online kingdom--and so the Kings of Illustrations were born.

A book all about Daniel Shaw and Archie Hill and their journey to becoming the Kings of Illustrations
