A Day in Our Royal (Busy) Life

Hello, everyone!

We get a lot of requests every day to talk about our daily strife. People want to find out what we struggle with, overcome (or don't), and in short (very short, in Archie's case), you want to know what we do with ourselves.

So here is a little sneak-peek. We have, of course, omitted a few vulgar or undignified details.

We get up at six-thirty, just like everyone else in our family, but occasionally if we need some extra working time, we get up at five o'clock.

Then we eat breakfast, usually porridge and a few pieces of toast, and some fruit.

Then we brush our teeth and hair, get dressed if we aren't already, and get our school things.

Then we race downstairs and outside and run to school. Usually, we are running a little late because we stayed in our room discussing plans--but not always.

During school hours, we usually draw little cartoons all over our school paper and get ideas in the middle of class, so we use our handy little paper notebooks to write those ideas down. And sometimes, since we're in the same class, we pass each other a note.

At lunch break, we sit together and eat and talk about ideas we got or things we have to do.

As soon as school is over, we run home and play outside for about an hour, unless we are heavily inspired. Then we go in and have about an hour before supper, so we usually draw the cartoon ideas or work on some that we need to get done or do other art things for fun, like paint.

Then we eat supper, and do our chores right after, as quickly as we can. On a good day, all that takes a little less than an hour, and THEN there's the best time of the day.

We go into our room, put on our crowns and aprons, with Jonah and sometimes Adrien and a random cat, roll up our sleeves and get to work. We work on our writings, write out blog posts, schedule things, organize our paper empire which is getting to be a big threat, and draw. If we have a blog post to write post or anything else that requires access our blog, we take our writing and drawing equipment to the library, which is right next to our room, since there's an old computer that nobody uses except us and sometimes the Princeless Tifanie, and that works phenomenally for us.

Then we work late into the night, until about nine-thirty or later, (sometimes until midnight, on Fridays!) and then brush our teeth, put on our pajamas, and go to bed very happy.

And that's what a normal day for us looks like.

Yours sincerely, and with a most royal bow,
